ABOUT DEBBIE
Debbie is a 4-year-old French Bulldog. Her breed naturally has problems because of their body type and genetic short falls. Her barrel body and short legs make spinal and joint problems. Her short nose makes it harder to breath, her digestion wasn’t always the best, and she is allergy prone. Two and a half years ago her diet was changed and the problems went away. She has not had any painful flair up of her spine or joints. She likes to go on 1–2-mile walks every day without breathing issues, she chases tennis balls, and can jump 40 inches. She has solid poops once a day, usually at the same time every day

Debbie’s Story
Debbie had numerous health problems when she was growing up. French Bulldogs have genetic spine and hip problems which cause temporary paralysis and extreme pain. Debbie also suffered from hair loss, inconsistent bowels, allergies, and erratic behavior. Her vet suggested a $10k surgery to fix her spine and expensive medications for everything else. When she switched her diet completely to human grade foods, her life changed almost immediately. She has not had a health problem since. She has not had an episode of temporary paralysis or extreme pain. Her fur is thick and shiny. Nail, eyes, and skin are healthy. Debbie has a small poop once a day and her behavior has calmed down. The way we like to think about this is no different than human nutrition. If you were to feed a kid chips and crackers every day, their bodies would fight against them. When dogs eat low grade kibble every day, their bodies fight in all the same ways.

Why Make The Switch To Real Food?
Debbie had all kinds of health problems while eating a standard kibble diet. Some of her problems got so bad her vet recommended a $10k surgery to help alleviate her pain. Instead, her diet was changed to real food and she has not had a single health problem since. Fur is thick, nails are shiny, body fat percentage is lower, energy is high! Debbie is a completely different dog.
